INDICATION:
Used in the management of hypertension, angina pectoris
and cardiac arrhythmias. Also used for migraine prophylaxis
and as an adjunct treatment of hypertension.
INDICATION: Used in a wide range of infections particularly Urinary Tract Infections.
Also included are anthrax, billiary tract infections, infected bites and stings,
bone and joint infections, brucellosis, cat scratch disease, chancroid, exacerbations of
cystic fibrosis, gastro-enteritis, gonorrhea, legionnaire’s disease, otitis externa,
otitis media, peritonitis, Q fever, lower respiratory tract infections, septicaemia,
skin and soft tissue infections, spotted fevers, typhoid and paratyphoid fever and typhus.
Also used in the prophylaxis of meningococcal meningitis and surgical infection.
INDICATION: Used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis and in the adjunctive treatment of adenomatous colorectal polyps, in the management of acute pain and dysmenorrheal.

INDICATION:
Used primarily for the treatment of infections due to
staphylococci which are resistant to benzylpenicillin.
It is also used for mixed streptococcal and staphylococcal
infections when the staphylococcal are penicillin-resistant.
Cloxacillin is sometimes given with ampicillin in infections
due to beta-lactamase-producing Gram-negative organisms
since it may inhibit the destruction of ampicillin.
Used in skin and soft tissue infections like furuncles,
carbuncles, impetigo, folliculitis. Also in wounds and
burns, ENT infections.

in patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia,
and is given prophylactically to hypercholesterolaemic
patients with ischemic heart disease.
